Key Features & Benefits

  • Medium-Soft Pliable Durometer (50 Shore A): Grade C50 combines high flexibility and 400% elongation with enhanced tensile strength for versatile sealing against uneven joint faces.
  • Fully Compliant BS 2752 Grade C50 Specification: Formulated from 100% virgin chloroprene polymer to satisfy exact British Standard engineering requirements.
  • Low-to-Medium Torque Sealing: Compressively conforms to irregular or textured surfaces under moderate joint loading without excessive extrusion or displacement.
  • High Chemical & Oil Resilience: Superior resistance to mineral oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, and diluted chemicals compared to commercial rubber grades.
  • All-Weather & Ozone Stability: Retains mechanical integrity, elasticity, and surface finish under continuous UV exposure, rainfall, and severe temperature fluctuations.
  • Broad Operating Range (-30°C to +120°C): Engineered for dependable performance across low-freezing conditions and elevated continuous temperature environments.

Product Information

Flexible BS 2752 C50 Neoprene Rubber Sheeting for Multi-Purpose Sealing

Deliver dependable fluid and environmental sealing across demanding industrial, marine, and defense applications with our specification-grade BS 2752 C50 neoprene rubber sheeting. Formulated strictly from 100% virgin chloroprene polymer, this high-grade neoprene sheet provides a medium-soft physical profile, making it ideal for jointing applications where extra compliance and sealing conformability are needed.

At 50° Shore A hardness, Grade C50 sits perfectly between ultra-soft C40 and standard medium-hard C60. It offers higher tensile strength (120 kg/cm²) than C40 while remaining noticeably more pliable than C60, allowing it to seal light-to-medium pressure pipe flanges and enclosure doors with ease.

Certified British Standard Compliance

Unlike commercial-grade synthetic rubber blends that incorporate SBR extenders, BS 2752 C50 neoprene rubber sheet material is manufactured to rigorous British Standard specifications. Independent quality validation confirms high tear resistance (30 kg/cm), impressive elongation (400%), and exceptional chemical stability under continuous service.

Its natural resistance to oils, greases, atmospheric ozone, and weather degradation ensures that BS 2752 C50 neoprene sheets provide long-term reliability in marine hatch seals, flexible sleeves, and outdoor enclosure gaskets.

Why Choose BS 2752 C50 Neoprene Sheeting?

  • Excellent Conformability: High elasticity allows the rubber to fill fine surface imperfections across mating faces under moderate bolt pressure.
  • Fully Traceable Quality: Manufactured from 100% pure neoprene to ensure consistent physical properties and regulatory compliance.
  • Resilient Against Ageing: Resists ozone cracking, surface oxidation, and atmospheric degradation across extended outdoor lifespans.
  • Durable Mechanical Resilience: Excellent tear and tensile resistance ensures long service life in dynamic sealing environments.

Applications

  • Low-to-medium pressure pipe flange gaskets and valve seals
  • Weatherproof seals for marine hatches, inspection doors, and electrical cabinets
  • Flexible expansion joints, dust boots, and protective sleeves
  • Anti-vibration pads and sound-dampening mountings in industrial machinery
  • Custom washers and protective surface liners for sensitive equipment
