Silicone Dairy Tubing
This platinum cured silicone tubing is ideal for the dairy industry, as it contains no peroxide by-products.
Platinum curing offers a number of advantages over the standard peroxide curing. It ensures the silicone is non-yellowing, has a higher tear strength, has a glossy finish, and is visually more transparent. As platinum cured silicone doesn’t stick to itself when being processed, the use of talc is not required.
Conventional black rubber dairy tubing has a tendency to harden and corrode with use, which is not an issue with this silicone tubing.
This tubing is manufactured using highly polished dies, which ensures an extra smooth inner bore for improved flow rate and hygiene.
This silicone material is fully compliant with FDA 177.2600 and EC 1935/2004 for use in food contact applications.
As standard for silicone, this tubing features excellent temperature stability in the range of -40°C to +200°C, and offers excellent resistance to ultraviolet light, ozone, and other forms of weathering.
