This EPDM sponge door seal – 24mm x 33mm is a high-quality, aftermarket reproduction of Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 Coupe part number BD44122.
The base of the seal is manufactured from solid EPDM rubber, which allows it to maintain its structure, even under heavy use. The top sections are made from expanded EPDM sponge, which provides excellent compression, as well as an airtight and watertight seal.
This product has been designed, specifically, to be able to withstand a variety of impacts, while still maintaining its original shape. This ensures that you are able to get a lot of use out of it without fear of warping or deterioration.
This seal is manufactured from high-quality EPDM rubber, due to the unique properties the material offers. EPDM offers outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, and weathering, while also offering good resistance to both polar substances and steam. EPDM also has excellent electrical insulating properties, and is able to withstand a range of chemicals from ketones and ordinary diluted acids, to alkalis.
This product can be cut to size using standard household tools, and attached using one of our superglues.
