Self-Grip Door Seal – 24.4mm x 19.4mm

This self-grip door seal is ideal for providing a watertight seal around any 1mm to 3mm thick door or hatch.

This seal can be easily cut with a sharp knife, allowing you to cut the strip to size. It also offers great flexibility and can easily bend around tight corners or complex angles for sealing or blocking out elements in tight spaces.

Ease of Function

This is a composite sealing profile, meaning it is comprised of a combination of solid EPDM rubber and sponge rubber, with metal inserts integrated into the solid rubber.

The internal fins and metal insert guarantee a tight grip, even if radii or bends need cover. Simply press the seal onto the door’s edge by hand or with a rubber or thermoplastic hammer. No adhesive or special attachment aids are required, making installation simple and quick.

Compression Values

After installing our product, it is important to ensure that the compression of the sponge part should not exceed a maximum of 50%. Exceeding this can greatly affect the overall compression and recovery of the product. An ideal compression rate should be between 30-40%, as this allows the product to return to its original state. If the sponge part of the profile has two sections, this value should apply to each section.
