Product Information

Wetfix Grass Adhesive

Wetfix grass adhesive has been specifically designed to bond artificial grass to joining tape, in order to create a strong, invsible joint.

Wetfix is comprised of a two-component polyurethane solution, which can be used in damp or wet conditions and at temperatures as low as +3°C.

You have the option of two tub sizes, depending on the size of the area you are working with:

5kg – Includes 0.5kg bottle of hardener. This will cover an area of approximately 10m².
10kg – Includes 1kg bottle of hardener. This will cover an area of approximately 20m².

Installation is Easy

The Wetfix adhesive should be mixed with the hardener additive at a ratio of 10:1 by weight, using a mechanical stirrer, such as a drill with mixing attachment.

The mixed adhesive should then be poured from the tub directly down the centre of the tape, or into a suitable application machine.

Use a notched trowel to spread the adhesive to the tape across a width of 250mm, leaving a 25mm strip uncoated at each edge of the tape. The seam can then be lightly rolled, and then re-rolled 1 to 2 hours later when it has taken on a high-viscosity, mastic appearance.
