Black Cable Ties

We offer black cable ties for use with our RubbaGrass mats. Using the cables you can connect adjacent mats to form a large solid structure. This will reduce movement underfoot and prolong the life of the product. All of our cable ties offer great heat-resistant properties making them ideal for outdoor use in all conditions. Able to withstand temperatures ranging from -35°C to 85°C not even the most frosty winters and harsh summers will degrade the product. The cable ties also offer acid and erosion control, making them suitable for a range of applications.

When using this product with our RubbaGrass protection mats we suggest leaving intervals of 150mm between each cable tie to ensure even distribution. You can use this product in conjunction with our plastic fixing pegs to create one large uniform system that is securely attached to the surface beneath. Our cable ties are 4.5mm wide so they can be as discreet as possible without compromising on strength. They are black in colour to match the RubbaGrass mats, which helps them blend in.

Lock and Go System

As you pull the end of the cable tie through the head it will start to click. This is because the head is locking into the ridges on the face of the cable tie. The locking mechanism offers greater strength than tying a knot and ensures that the cable doesn’t slip over prolonged use. Once you have tightened the cable tie to match your specific needs simply cut the excess off.
