Black Neoprene Rubber Tubing

This black neoprene rubber tubing is a general-purpose product, ideal for the transfer of a wide variety of liquids.

This tubing offers medium resistance to petroleum-based oils as well as other oils. This essentially means that the tubing is suitable to use with petroleum-based oils. However, after a long period of time, the tubing may deteriorate and need replacing. We don’t recommend using this particular neoprene rubber tubing in electrical environments or applications as it contains poor electrical properties. This means that the material is able to conduct electricity and as a result, is unable to protect the liquid within it from electrical currents.

This neoprene tubing is also non-resistant to ester lubricants, which makes it unsuitable for use in applications such as; refrigerators and other industrial applications.

Due to the superior temperature range that this neoprene rubber tubing offers (-30°C to +100°C), it is ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor applications. Pond filters and pumps greatly benefit from this tubing as it reduces the chance of the water freezing. The high weathering resistance also reduces deterioration in bad weather conditions and the great flexibility and tensile strength of the material enable it to transfer liquid around tight corners or under surfaces.

How to Measure a Tube

If the outer diameter is not known, you can simply multiply the wall thickness by 2, then add that figure to the inner diameter.
