This neoprene rubber tubing is an excellent general-purpose tubing solution. This particular rubber tubing is ideal for the transfer of a wide variety of liquids. It offers medium resistance to petroleum-based oils as well as other oils. This essentially means that the tubing is suitable to use with petroleum-based oils, however after a long period of time the tubing may deteriorate and need replacing. We don’t recommend using this particular neoprene rubber tubing in electrical environments or applications as it contains poor electrical properties. This means that the material is able to conduct electricity and, as a result, is unable to protect the liquid within it from electrical currents. This neoprene tubing is also non-resistant to ester lubricants, which makes it unsuitable for use in applications such as refrigerators and other industrial applications.

Due to the superior temperature range that this neoprene rubber tubing offers (-30°C to +100°C), our customers often use this product in outdoor applications. Pond filters and pumps greatly benefit from this tubing as it reduces the chance of the water freezing. The high weathering resistance that this product offers also reduces deterioration in bad weather conditions. The great flexibility and tensile strength that this product offers enable it to transfer liquid around tight corners or under surfaces.
