EPDM Sponge D Section – 33mm x 25mm

This EPDM sponge D section- 33mm x 25mm is a highly resistant seal.

Among many other applications, this seal is suited for a wide range of vehicles, such as classic and modern cars, as well as larger vehicles like, for example, buses, caravans, and trains.

This product has a width of 33mm, which gives the product a larger surface area to ensure a secure connection, preventing it from coming loose and also ensuring that is able to provide excellent sealing in a variety of conditions. It also has a maximum height of 25mm, which is more than enough to provide great compression values. That also makes this product suitable for use as an impact protector.

A Wide Range of Uses

This product also features an inner hole with a width of 22mm and a height of 13mm. Due to the excellent weathering resistance of the EPDM sponge material, this all combines to provide the capability of this section to act as a cable or wire protector. If left empty, the hole allows for superior compression, which allow the product to easily protect against impact.

We manufacture this product from a high-quality EPDM rubber due to the unique properties the material offers. EPDM offers outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, and weathering, while also offering good resistance to both polar substances and steam. EPDM also has excellent electrical insulating properties, and is able to withstand a range of chemicals from ketones and ordinary diluted acids, to alkalis. Lastly, EPDM provides an airtight and watertight seal.

This product can be cut using standard household tools to meet any size you require, and attached using one of our superglues.
