This EPDM sponge seal – 23mm x 15mm is a multi-purpose product, ideal for a range of uses in classic Triumph and Jaguar vehicles.
This is an aftermarket reproduction of OEM part number BD9345, and is manufactured from high-quality material to provide a longer life than other replacements on the market, or even the original seal itself.
Due to the high compression rates that EPDM offers, our product can easily fit areas smaller than the size of the seal. Likewise, the measurements should be taken as approximate rounded to the nearest whole number.
This product has been designed, specifically, to be able to withstand a variety of impacts, while still maintaining its original shape. This ensures that you are able to get a lot of use out of it without fear of warping or deterioration.
EPDM offers outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, and weathering, while also offering good resistance to both polar substances and steam. EPDM also has excellent electrical insulating properties, and is able to withstand a range of chemicals from ketones and ordinary diluted acids, to alkalis. Lastly, EPDM provides an airtight and watertight seal.
This product can be cut using standard household tools to meet any size you require, and attached using one of our superglues.
