This EPDM square U channel – 12mm x 23mm is a highly versatile impact protection profile, ideal for use on wooden, plastic and metal panels as well as doors, glass, etc. and provides shock absorption to any material that you put it on, but also protects you from any sharp corners.

This profile is manufactured using a high-quality EPDM compound. This provides it with high tensile strength and tear resistance properties. These properties are crucial in ensuring that the U channel is able to absorb a wide range of impacts and deal with the wear and tear of daily use.

This U channel has been designed with a bottom tail, making it suitable as a door or window seal in cars, buses, caravans, and more.

Easy to Install

The strips can be easily cut using a range of tools to fit your specific needs. Once cut to the correct size, simply slide the U channel over the edge and it’s as easy as that. This U channel can also be bonded in place using either polyurethane or silicone sealants. This enables it to make a tight seal around aluminium window channels, for example.

The width of the channel can be increased by bonding a neoprene strip alongside it. Equally the panel thickness can be reduced by bonding a strip inside of it.
