Our silicone solid rubber cord – 40° Shore is suitable for use in a wide variety of applications, such as sealing, decorative trim, food contact, and art and design.
As well as featuring good flexibility and mechanical properties, this 40° Shore A silicone cord has a wider temperature range of -55°C to +210°C, compared to our other rubber cords.
The 40° Shore A hardness means this is a softer material than our 60° Shore A silicone cord.
This rubber tubing is highly durable and able to withstand heavy and frequent use as we manufacture it using a high-quality silicone material.
A key feature of silicone is its ability to provide resistance against weathering, UV, and ozone. This enables our solid rubber cord to provide consistent performance in interior and exterior applications.
PLEASE NOTE: Silicone is not suitable for use with our B480 Cyanoacrylate or CyanoBond HV adhesives.
