Steel U Pins

Our steel U pins are the perfect tool to be used with our Grasshield product. They provide a strong and secure way of fixing the rolls to the ground, whilst doing minimal damage to the soil. Ideal for a variety of applications that require attaching something to the ground. The U shape of the pins ensures that they fit between the gaps in the rolls, and also makes it easier for you to put them into the ground.

Crafted from galvanised steel to ensure, a strong yet lightweight product. Each side of the U shape pins is ribbed to offer a more secure grip when in the soil. Our pins are 130mm long so that, that they go deep enough into the ground to provide a solid connection without disrupting the soil.

Easy to Install and Secure

We typically recommend using a small hammer to install the pins to avoid any strain on yourself or the product. However, depending on the type of surface the pins may be able to push into place. To ensure maximum stability we recommend using 100 pins per roll. Once installed there is no need to adjust the pins as they will be held secure by the soil.
