This TPE square U channel – 13.6mm x 13mm is a highly versatile impact protector, suitable for use on sheets and edges with a thickness ranging from 5mm to 6mm.

The tapered design of this particular U channel is different compared to our other square U channels. The slanted edges of this product enable it to fit a wider range of objects as well as provide a strong and stable grip. This is, in part due to the firmness of the rubber material we use to make this U channel. It enables the sides to move to accommodate thicker sheets and edges but also ensures the product retains its original shape.

This product has a hardness (shore A) of 60°, which means this is a relatively firm product. The hardness of the product is an important factor in regards to how well it will be able to protect against impacts. Apart from protecting against impacts the firmness of this U channel also ensures that it withstands heavy pressure, without deteriorating.
