This TPE U channel – 8.5mm x 12mm is an excellent, highly versatile edge protector.

We manufacture this U channel to fit sheets from 1mm to 3mm in thickness. The product is able to support a wide range of sizes due to the two gripping strips found on both sides of the channel. They provide a narrower entry point for thinner sheets and compress when a thicker sheet is inserted.

This U channel has a width of 8.5mm and a height of 12mm, 3mm of which makes up the base of this product. The thick base gives you superior protection and ensures that it keeps all impact away from the object. This product also uses 9mm exclusively for the gripping arms. That gives you a larger anchor point which ensures a more secure grip.

This product is semi-rigid, which means it will remain solid and is less likely to compress under pressure. This is an important quality for a versatile U channel of this nature as the thickness of the sheet could always be different.
