Our EC400 polyurethane adhesive is an easy two-part mix glue. It has been specifically designed to ensure an easy mixing process as well as fast application. This adhesive has been formulated to allow the bonding of uPVC and GRP sheets to most building materials, such as brickwork, plaster, concrete, blockwork, etc.
We always recommend working on a clean, dry surface that is free from any contaminants that could impair the adhesion. When working on the structure of a new build it should be allowed to dry out for at least 6 weeks. Ensuring that the moisture content on the surface and core is less than 14%. If you are working with very porous substrates you can seal them with a PVA solution. Ensure that the PVA is completely dry (at least 8 hours) prior to adhesive application.
We also recommend allowing all materials to acclimatise for at least 24 hours prior to bonding. This is to avoid stresses from the expansion of plastic sheeting.
EC400 is supplied 6.5kg pack. The mix ratio is 12:1 by weight. Solution A is contained in a 5 litre bucket, while solution B is in a sealed sachet. This allows you to use the bucket to mix the solutions.
