EPDM Sponge D Section (SAB) – 12.5mm x 12.5mm

This EPDM sponge D section – 12.5mm x 12.5mm is a highly versatile and durable sealing profile, complete with a self-adhesive backing.

This particular product has a width and height of 12.5mm, which helps to improve the structural strength of the seal. The top side of the product also benefits from a curved design, which grants it with two unique features. Firstly, it helps reduce the damage caused by impacting objects and, secondly, when using this product as a seal, the curve helps to fill in any uneven gaps, in order to ensure a completely airtight and watertight solution.

This sponge seal also features an inner hole with a diameter of 6.2mm, which is perfect to run cable or wires through. When using this product in outdoor applications, the excellent resistance to weather and temperature will also help to protect cables.

This product serves as the perfect seal replacement in both MG and Jaguar vehicles (OEM part number BD 2159). However, it may be used in a range of classic and modern cars, as well as in larger vehicles, such as buses, caravans, and trains.

EPDM also has excellent electrical insulating properties, and is able to withstand a range of chemicals from ketones and ordinary diluted acids, to alkalis. Lastly, EPDM provides an airtight and watertight seal.

This product can be cut using standard household tools to meet any size you require.
