This EPDM sponge seal- 22.5mm x 18mm is highly versatile and suitable for use in a wide range of door and window applications.
This particular seal has a maximum width of 22.5mm and a height of 18mm. These sizes should be viewed as approximate as we measure to the closest whole/half number. The superior flexibility also enables this product to fit in spaces smaller than its maximum size. This allows the product to fill any irregularities and uneven surfaces, which increases sealing capabilities.
This product has been designed, specifically, to be able to withstand a variety of impacts, while still maintaining its original shape. This ensures that you are able to get a lot of use out of the product without fear of warping or deterioration.
This seal is manufactured from high-quality EPDM rubber, due to the unique properties the material offers. EPDM offers outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, and weathering, while also offering good resistance to both polar substances and steam. EPDM also has excellent electrical insulating properties, and is able to withstand a range of chemicals from ketones and ordinary diluted acids, to alkalis. Lastly, EPDM provides an airtight and watertight seal.
This product can be cut using standard household tools to meet any size you require, and attached using one of our superglues.
