Fine Ribbed Rubber Matting

Our fine ribbed rubber matting features excellent gripping properties, which help to reduce potential slipping hazards.

As the name suggests, our ribbed rubber matting contains a series of ribs that run along the length of the roll. These ribs perform a number of functions, however, their main purpose is to provide additional grip and stability. The ribs increase the total surface area of the matting and can also compress slightly while under pressure. This ensures that a larger area of our non-slip matting is in contact with the user at all times.

Health & Safety

Aside from the excellent non-slip properties, this matting offers two additional features.

1) The ribs create channels which help to carry any liquid away from the surface of the matting. This helps to reduce slipping hazards and increase the life expectancy of the product.

2) The superior surface area makes the mat a great heat insulator and sound dampener. This particular feature is highly desirable in built-up, high population areas.

High Quality Construction

We manufacture our fine ribbed rubber matting from a natural rubber and SBR compound in order to provide superior durability. Natural rubber features good tensile strength and tear-resistant properties, enabling it to be in constant use without fear of warping or deterioration. Natural rubber also features a relatively broad functioning temperature range. This enables our matting to maintain its flexibility and durability, even in extreme cold temperatures, unlike similar PVC alternatives, which can often become brittle in sub-zero conditions.
