This TPE square U channel – 40mm x 20.5mm is a versatile, square impact protector, suitable for use on sheets and edges with a thickness of 35mm.
Square U channels are typically more rigid in design which makes them ideal for protecting against a variety of impacts. The superior rigidity also allows for thinner construction which makes them ideal in applications that are short on space.
This product has a constant thickness of 2.5mm, which is more than enough to deal with heavy impact and pressure due to the strength of the material we use for manufacturing. The gripping arms on this particular U channel have a height of 18mm. This enables the product to maintain a secure grip on any object you are using it on, and also reduces the need for adhesive.
This product has a (shore A) hardness value of 60°, which means this is a relatively firm product. The superior hardness makes this product ideal for protecting against impacts and also makes the U channel less likely to compress under pressure.
