Our Viton solid rubber cord is suitable for use applications involving corrosive chemicals at high temperatures.
Viton, also known as FKM or FPM, is a fluoroelastomer that provides excellent resistance to a range of chemicals. It is also designed to withstand degradation and maintain its shape when exposed to these chemicals at elevated temperatures.
Viton offers good mechanical properties, a low compression set, and superior resistance to atmospheric oxidation, UV exposure, fungus, weather, ozone, and mould.
