Our B480 – cyanoacrylate adhesive is a black, modified cyanoacrylate with a higher peel and shock resistance compared to other grades. B480 is suitable for a wide range of materials, including bonding rubber and metals, and it can also act as a strain relief in tough demanding environments.
We have a wide range of adhesives suitable for different materials or gap sizes. To ensure it meets your specific needs for the job, we recommend reading the technical data before purchase.
We recommend that the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil or other contaminants before applying the glue. This will ensure that the glue bonds to the material with maximum efficiency.
B480 is designed to be used with Cyano Activate curing agent in order to ensure it cures appropriately through gaps and large deposits or drops. When you require a faster cure, you can spray the Cyano Activate on the components first and then add drops of the B480 solution. We always recommend carrying out trials beforehand.
Without using the activator the adhesive has a cure time of roughly 60 seconds. However, with the activator, the cure time is brought down to 15 seconds, making it ideal when time is crucial.
