We supply high-quality nitrile solid rubber cord for use in a wide variety of applications.
Nitrile cord features a combination of good mechanical properties with excellent resistance to abrasion, fuel, and oil. This product is available in a range of sizes, from 1mm to 9mm.
As the rubber compound has a Shore A hardness of 90°, this makes the material very stiff compared to the standard 70° Shore A rubber cords. This harder compound grants the cord greater resistance to abrasion and extrusion.
Nitrile features excellent resistance to petroleum oils, minerals, and vegetable oils. It is also suitable for use in applications involving hydrocarbons and most dilute acids and alkalis.
