RubbaTiles Playground Tiles – 1m x 1m

Our RubbaTiles are carefully constructed rubber mats designed specifically for use in playgrounds or other children’s play areas.

Typical surfacing materials, such as concrete or tarmac, do nothing to protect bodies from fall damage. In particular, a child’s play area has many potential hazards that can cause harm, such as falling from play apparatus. Therefore, child safety is something we take very seriously here. We create our play tiles specifically to provide cushioning to children, should they fall.

These tiles are also manufactured to provide a non-slip surface to reduce the likelihood of slips and trips, and also offer optimum performance in wet weather, compared to other forms of safety flooring. They are able to retain their non-slip properties, even when wet, and are porous so water can drain away quickly.

We offer our RubbaTiles in a range of thicknesses, from 20mm to 80mm. Thicker tiles provide a greater shock absorption rate. This makes them perfect for use in areas where high apparatus, such as climbing frames, are in use.

Easy to Install and Protect

You can simply place our tiles on the surface as they are for an easy installation. The weight of the thicker tiles will help to ensure they can be trusted to stay in place. To see the tile weights, click on the TECHNICAL DATA tab above. Alternatively, you can use a two-part adhesive to ensure permanent installation.

If you intend to lay on sand, gravel, or other similar surfaces, we can supply the tiles with a profiled underside. Let us know if this is the case in the Notes section when you place your order.
