Silicone U Channel – 15mm x 20mm

Our silicone U channel – 15mm x 20mm is a great tool for protecting edges from damage, or for providing protection from the edges themselves.

This U channel is manufactured from platinum cured silicone. This ensures that it has a smooth, shiny surface, and is non-yellowing.

While edge protectors are predominantly used in more industrial environments, they are perfect for a variety of uses, such as protecting anything from furniture and vending machines, to running boards and the contours of glazing.

Easy to Install

The strips can be easily cut using any cutting implement. Once cut to the correct size, simply slide the U channel over the edge and it’s as easy as that. Our U channels can also be bonded in place using either polyurethane or silicone sealants. This enables it to make a tight seal around aluminium window channels, for example.

The width of the channel can be increased by bonding a neoprene strip alongside it. Equally, the panel thickness can be reduced by bonding a strip inside of it.
