This solid silicone sheeting – 70° shore is ideal for use in food contact, pharmaceutical, and clean industry applications, among others.
Silicone rubber provides high tear resistance, strength, and elongation at break point. What sets it apart from most rubber materials is its ability to perform in low and high temperatures. This sheeting is suitable for use from -60°C up to +230°C, with intermittent capabilities up to +250°C.
This material contains only listed ingredients according to FDA standard 21 CFR 177.2600 and is fully postcured in accordance with the raw material manufacturers guidelines. In addition, it is also compliant to EU regulation EC 1935/2004 and has been tested to and comply with the requirements of BfR CV “Silicones”. This makes it suitable for use in many industries such as food, pharmaceutical, as well as other clean industries.
Silicone offers excellent resistance to ultraviolet light, ozone, seawater, and other forms of weathering.
