Adhesive TPE Sponge Protective D Profile 6mm x 5.5mm

This TPE sponge protective D profile 6mm x 5.5mm is a small format impact protector. We pre-install adhesive backing to this product to allow for easy installation. The adhesive strips enable this impact protector to maintain a strong grip while under a variety of pressure or impacts. The adhesive strips also help to preserve the appearance of the surface you are applying it to. This is because adhesive solutions contain abrasive chemicals which can deteriorate some surfaces. Finally, the adhesive strips allow for a simple as well as fast installation option out of the box, saving you both time and money.

This particular protective D profile has two sections. We manufacture this base section from a high-quality rubber TPE material due to the unique properties the material offers. Firstly, the base has a superior hardness which provides a semi-rigid surface to protect the surface. Rubber TPE also offers great resistance to both weathering and chemical abrasion. This enables you to use this product in a wide range of environments with little to no maintenance. We manufacture the D section from a TPE foam material. This grants it the durability of rubber with the flexibility of a foam plastic material. This enables the protective section to compress under pressure to give the product superior impact absorption properties.

The adhesive backing provides you with a simple, fast, and cost-effective installation solution. This product is also 100% recyclable, which ensures that when you finish with the product you can easily dispose of it. We make the tubular part of our extrusions from a TPE rubber foam (thermoplastic), this makes it possible to catch up with any irregularities (25% functional crushing).
