This TPE square U channel – 9mm x 11.5mm is a highly versatile impact protector, ideal for use on sheets and edges with a thickness of 6mm. The U channel has an overall height of 11.5mm with 10mm gripping arms. These larger gripping arms ensure that there is more surface area in contact with the object you are protecting at all times. The gripping arms also increase the anchor point which provides superior gripping properties, which reduces the need for adhesive. This product has a thickness of 1.5mm which makes this particular U channel ideal in applications that require stacking multiple sheets as the product doesn’t take up much space. Despite being relatively thin in design, this U channel still provides excellent impact absorption properties due to the high-quality materials we use.
This product has a (shore A) hardness value of 60°, which essentially means that this is a relatively firm product. This ensures that the product is less likely to compress under pressure as well as provides excellent impact absorption properties. The firmness of this U channel also enables it to hold its original shape and reduces the chance of warping while in use.
