This TPE U channel – 12mm x 17.5mm has a thicker base in order to provide superior protection to the edges of sheets with a thickness of 4.5mm.
The inner channel of this product features a tapered design, which enables it to provide a tight fit over the object. This ensures a secure connection is made, increasing gripping capabilities and also reducing the need for adhesive.
The base of this product has a thickness of 6mm, which is more than enough to deal with extreme pressure and a variety of impacts.
This product has a hardness (shore A) of 60°, which means this is a relatively firm product. The firmer the product the less likely the U channel is to compress and warp over time. This increases durability as well as the life expectancy of the product.
