This TPE U channel – 18mm x 30mm is a versatile impact protector, suitable for use on objects with a thickness of 10mm.

This particular U channel is unique as it offers a protected 6mm diameter inner hole. Our customers typically use this hole to protect cables as well as wires which they run through the U channel. However, if left, the hole provides an empty space to allow for compression in heavy-duty applications.

The base on this product has a total height of 15mm which provides superior protection to the fragile parts of the sheet or edge. The gripping arms on this U channel have a thickness of 4mm which enables them to protect against a wide range of impacts.

This product has a (shore A) hardness value of 60°, which means that this is a relatively firm product. The firmness of this product enables it to withstand a variety of impacts without compressing and warping. It also serves to improve gripping capabilities as it ensures the gripping arms are less likely to bend.
