This high-temperature silicone sheeting is ideal for use in a range of applications where the operating temperature may reach up to +270°C.
Silicone offers excellent resistance to ultraviolet light, ozone, seawater, and other forms of weathering. It also provides high tear resistance, strength, and elongation, without compromising performance at low and high temperatures.
Although this sheeting can perform at temperatures of +270°C (+300° intermittently), it is reliant on the presence of oxygen. Without this, it may become subject to reversion and will deteriorate, even at much lower temperatures. The lifespan of the silicone may also be affected by use at its extreme capabilities, although this will differ with every application and environmental usage.
This silicone material is fully compliant with FDA 177.2600 and EC 1935/2004 for use in food contact applications.
