For smaller applications, or where testing needs to be carried out prior to purchasing full sheets or rolls, we supply solid silicone 60° Shore A in 200mm2 sheets.
This material contains only listed ingredients according to FDA standard 21 CFR 177.2600 and is fully postcured in accordance with the raw material manufacturers guidelines. In addition, it is also compliant to EU regulation EC 1935/2004 and has been tested to and comply with the requirements of BfR CV “Silicones”. This makes it suitable for use in many industries such as food, pharmaceutical, as well as other clean industries.
This silicone sheeting is suitable for use in temperatures from -60°C up to +230°C with intermittent use possible up to +250°C.
The 200mm x 20mm silicone sheets are available in 30° to 80° Shore A hardnesses. The lower the hardness, the softer the material. As the material hardness increases, the tear strength will also increase, however, the elongation breaking point will decrease.
Silicone offers excellent resistance to ultra-violet light, ozone, seawater, as well as other forms of weathering.
